I have tried, probably 95% of these activities with my child. And if I haven't tried them yet...I will any day now!

Valentine Graph
Give your child a small cup of candy hearts. Have him/ her count the different colors. Have him sort them, count them, read them (if they can), and graph them. Why not. Then talk about more and less. Could you even do a lessen on adding and subtracting. SURE THING!
A Little About Who I am and What this Site is All About
My name is Sarah and I am the proud mama of two boys. I have an 8 month old and an almost 4 year old. Before I chose to stay home with my boys I was a teacher. I chose to be a teacher for many reasons but one of the reasons was it was a career that would allow me to express my creativity and motivate others to learn.
After I chose to stay home I joined a Non-profit Organization for moms. It connects us and allows us to support each other through this journey through parenting and being home full time. As I started hosting playgroups people would notice some of the goofy things I did with my son Charley.
So if anyone out there reads this...feel free to share your ideas or try mine and let me know how they go.
Remember these are just goofy things that I pull out of my $#&...excuse my language. Some of them I have gotten from books or magazines. Others my sons and I created together. Tweek them to fit your child.
